Geneviève Pepin

Geneviève Pepin was a dance interpreter, improviser, rehearsal director and teacher. She was active in the professional dance scene for over three decades, starting in 1979.

In 2015, she began her training in the Professional Teacher Training Program at the Feldenkrais Institute of New York. She completed the course in 2019 and became a certified Feldenkrais practitioner in the Feldenkrais Method®.

She holds a B.A. in dance teaching (90) as well as a Master's degree in dance interpretation (98) from the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM). She was teaching between 1980 and 2013 at different organizations and schools such as the École supérieure de danse du Québec, the École nationale de cirque and the Cégep de Drummondville, among others.

In her youth, she first trained in classical ballet. She attended the École supérieure des Grands Ballets canadiens from 1970 to 1979. From then on, she became involved in the contemporary dance milieu.
